Speakers: Keynote Dr. Linda E. Thomas, Professor of Theology and Anthropology, and Sankofa Scholar Melonie Iglehart-Hammons. Breakout experiential sessions include: Judith Jenkins, Licensed Physical Therapist, who will show us Releasing Tension Through Massage, Mary A. Reyes, RN to share healthy eating to prevent diabetes and other health issues in your life, Betty Floris, Registered Yoga Teacher, MS, showing how physical fitness helps improve our spiritual fitness, Sankofa Scholar Cynthia Laden, who speaks on Spiritual Healing: Crushed but not broken, and Tina Karagulian will offer two art sessions entitled Creativity with Collage, taking time for relaxation with breath and meditation then creating with collage.
