ALTARS Wood altars of mixed media range from $175 to $300. Please call or e-mail for prices of individual pieces. You may request original poetry to be included on your altar.
GICLEE PRINTS Approximately 7 1/2 " x 9 1/2" image and mat in 11 x 14 size print, $85 16" x 20" print, $125 Giclee prints available for any closeup or full-length portrait, abstract or floral painting, or original print you see here. Other print options will be made available in the future.
HOW IT WORKS To commission an abstract painting or altar, just specify particular colors or images you would like. To commission a portrait, you simply mail or e-mail one or more of your photographs. Please choose photographs in which the subject looks directly at you and the subject's eyes are clearly visible. Then decide on the size of your canvas and whether you would like oil medium or mixed media (collage, wood, poetry, etc.) Choose either a close-up of the person's face or a full-length portrait, and you can request a traditional portrait (see Xelena & Yemaya) or a more abstract portrait with various colors (see Gwyneth or Wizard Boy).
PAYMENT Please make check payable to Tina Karagulian and mail to P.O. Box 6707, San Antonio, Texas 78209. I will ship out your artwork via UPS.
TIME FRAME Portraits will take 2 weeks to 1 month, depending on the time of year that you place the order.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I can always change things in the photograph that you don't like (change background, take out people or distractions, etc.) For Christmas presents, please place orders by October. Half of the total payment is due when placing the order and the remaining half is due after you receive the painting. The price for shipping and handling is not included in listed prices.
