on the collage, I was just going through the
process in a rote-like manner. The more I
worked, the more energized I became.
Everything about my being shifted, and it
was like I was catapulted into the project.
The magazine pictures that had significance
began to jump out at me. A strange and
unexpected healing happened.”

Divine Feminine Art Exhibit, VIVA! Bookstore and Gallery, 8407 Broadway,
San Antonio, TX. Paintings by Brother Cletus, Tina Karagulian, Patsy Sasek, and
Jessica Veilleux. In addition to portraits of the Divine Feminine image, postcard
prints and prayer cards of Mother Earth and Divine Mother also available.

Sacred Act of Creating Altars, Trinity University, San Antonio, TX
Discussed the choosing, placement, and altar space and its significance for one's
life. Students created a group altar with sacred objects they brought, then shared
the meaning of the objects and the experience with one another. We also brought
to life the importance of baptism from scripture. This lecture is part of an ongoing
class entitled Performing Biblical Characters: The Living Bible: Ritual and
Relevance under instructor Sam Carter Gilliam, for Trinity University’s drama
department.

express emotion and to create individual and group works of art.
