Four of Tina Karagulian's prayers have been included in
Morehouse Publishing's 2009 anthology Lifting Women's
Voices: Prayers to Change the World. Women of all ages
include prayers on issues of women's empowerment,
poverty, and the power of faith to bridge cultural and
economic differences. All royalties benefit the
International Anglican Women’s Network and Episcopal
Relief and Development.
Tina Karagulian's prayer:
Reconciliation
God/Divine Mother,
help me to see things
as you want me to see them.
Open my eyes to truth
and equality for all.
Help me to understand and to release
any fear, hatred, or anger I hold
toward any of my brothers and sisters,
for it prevents me from loving you.
I do not know all the answers,
but am open to receiving your will.
In each moment, guide me to envision
a peaceful and loving solution for everyone,
for anything is possible with God’s abiding love,
and miracles abound with the intercession
of a Mother’s guiding hand.
Use my actions and words that I may
channel your loving wisdom and peace,
and break open my heart
to love in a deeper way.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
